You are looking at a 1973 Fender Telecaster with NO ISSUES . All normal wear and beautiful in everyway. Original everything , except for - the pickguard is not original , but there are no extra screw holes in the body at all. ( it came to us without one)- and the volume pot is not original- . That being said , the volume pot was replaced with the proper period pot and is the right one!
And we have included a replacement pickguard that will work . The wiring is still the original wiring as well. The neck pickup cover ,( just the chrome cover) is missing . This does not affect playability or sound. The pickups are otherwise original and work perfect. The switches , knobs and other hardware including machine heads , saddles , string trees, nut etc. also are all original. We had the tele completely taken apart professionally and reassembled to confirm that neck and body were a match and are original. Fret wear is normal and minimal and does not have any buzzing or playability issues.
This beautiful , naturally aged blonde tele is a real player and was pro gigged for many years and is a dream to play. It has beautiful natural aging in the finish and I have tried to show clearly in the pics what cosmetic issues the guitar has. It also will include the circa 68' fender tolex case with the emblem that is worth over $500.00 US on it's own. The case is in excellent shape for the age of it and also has no issues with the original clasps and hardware, nor does it have any rips or tears in the tolex. It has the typical orange interior and black tolex exterior . Please bid with confidence on a sweet piece of history that you will NOT be dissapointed with.
